Apparently Pastor Olukoya of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministry has given cash gifts of 500,000 Naira each to 77 individuals who have graduated with first class degrees from different universities. We need to hear more stories like this rather than those of financial impropriety by men of God. I'm sure other ministries and Christian organizations are involved in charity work but maybe they should be given greater publicity so as to counter-balance all the negative press that the church has recieved in recent times.
