This man, Alan John Miller claims to the re-incarnated Christ. He also claims his 'partner', Mary Luck, is Mary Magdalene.
According to him, he has clear memories of the crucifixion and various miracles he performed during his 'first coming'.
Alarmingly, he is gathering a considerable number of followers and people have given up their careers and business, and even upped sticks to move from their different countries to Australia where AJ, as he likes to be called, resides.
These are intelligent people with established careers, not drifters or anything like that.
Well, these are the last days. False Christs have been before and will continue to come until Jesus finally returns. People would do well to take heed.
Wonders! A Buddhist monk has set himself on fire and sustained serious injuries in the process. He was protesting against the killing of cows in Sri Lanka. Buddhism is against the taking of life in any form.
This is extreme, but what would happen if Christians were this passionate for their faith? It would certainly be a different world to what we have currently, that's for sure!
Evangelist and Christian singer Carman Licciardello notified fans on Facebook Thursday he's suffered a setback in his battle against cancer.
In February, doctors diagnosed the 57-year-old singer with myeloma, giving him three to four years to live. He underwent an in-depth medical evaluation in early March and began treatment then.
"Today is a bad day," Licciardello wrote, after being admitted to the emergency room with severe dehydration.
He asked his fans to pray.
"This is a war I'm fighting on a daily basis, and I might be trying too hard. I don't know," he wrote. "But as of right now, this is not good. Not good at all. Please pray. You all are my lifeline to the other side of this horrible journey."
"We've come this far -- God can't allow this testimony of his blessing to stop now. It just can't happen," he continued. "I may feel like I'm losing control, but God hasn't."

There's nothing impossible for God to do. I wish you divine healing and a swift return to health. Amen!
The former archbishop of Canterbury, Lord Carey, feels UK Prime Minister David Cameron has betrayed Christians because of recent happenings under his administration.
"I was very keen to make a very clear statement about what I regard as the duplicity of the prime minister in saying wonderful words about the Christian church and what the leaders are doing...but the actions of his government go in a completely different direction," he wrote.

Ever since the gruesome and public murder of a British soldier on the streets of Woolwich, London last Wednesday most right-thinking people have been left scratching their heads in horror and disbelief as to how such a thing could have happened in a supposedly sane, Western society.
To make matters worse, it has since emerged that the perpetrators are both of Nigerian heritage and from Christian backgrounds, now converts to Islamic fundamentalism.
Now Femi Fani-Kayode, a well-known Nigerian politician and lawyer has brought his own view-point to the mix. It is a very long read but might be worth the effort. LINK.
In God we trust!
It so easy to think that because you or someone you know, is going through a stormy situation, it means God has forsaken you.
When the disciples encountered that storm on the sea of Galilee, Jesus was right there with them, asleep in another part of the ship.
He has promised to never leave nor forsake us. When it feels as if you're all alone in your dark situation know that your Lord is right there with you, cheering you on, willing you to exercise your faith muscles, ready to rescue you in the nick of time.
Such a comfort to know He is a very present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1)

I have just listened to a talk by Pastor Wale Olulana of Harmony Christian Centre and here are some excerpts as well as some of my thoughts on the subject. This is by no means exhaustive but gives broad guidelines of what the anointing is and what it is not.

Brazil's National Council of Justice have legalized same-sex marriage in SouthAmerica's largest country. They have effectively made it illegal for notary publics ( I suppose they're the public servants who perform civil ceremonies) to refuse to perform these ceremonies.
I'm just wondering what this would mean for Christian notary publics who refused to go against their conscience. Would they face prosecution?
Why do men want to re-write the laws of God? This whole same sex-marriage issue flies in the face of reason. It's just not natural!
Hmmm...(deep sigh)! The way were going as a nation, we might not be far behind Brazil and other 'forward-thinking' countries! God help us all!!

This video left me laughing out loud! I'm guessing it's a regular routine because the other church members do not appear to be fazed by his antics.
To be honest, it's a bit over-the-top and distracting, but God sees the heart and if it helps to lift someone's spirit, who are we to judge?
I saw this awful headline yesterday. A pregnant young woman who was entrusted with the Sunday church collection was ambushed by armed robbers on her way back home and in the confusion that ensued, she was fatally shot!
This happened in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, and he sum of N50,000 (approximately $200) was taken. The general consensus is that the criminals were probably part of the congregation or had inside information.
Whatever the case, two lives have been lost as a result of rampant lawlessness and greed. The question arises again; what is the solution to the state of anarchy in our society? The answer remains the same. Only God can pull us back from the brink. Turn to the Lord and forsake iniquity!
May God grant the departed souls eternal rest!

There is something so chilling about the death of a young person. Death in general is something no one wants to think about, no matter how old the victim is, but when the news of a young one's death breaks it leaves you speechless, covered in goose bumps, with chills running up and down your spine.

His recent article titled, 'EVERY PASTOR WHO COLLECTS TITHES IS A THIEF!' proves this point. I'm sure he didn't have to go that far! The article has some strong arguements, although there are a some areas where I disagree. I can imagine that faithful tithers and proponents of tithing would be up in arms when they read this, but I guess this is one of those issues that will never be resolved this side of eternity.
We will have to wait and see who was right in the end!
It's quite a long read so brace up! See the article after the cut...

What is success?
The Oxford dictionary defines it as: the accomplishment of an aim or purpose. The aim or purpose could be the most insignificant of things or it could be a major undertaking. Most people have experienced success in one form or the other. Any one who has been priviledged to obtain any level of education has successfully learned some things and hopefully, passed some examinations. Every mother has successfully carried a pregnancy to term. Employees have succeeded at an interview in other to get the job. Every business person has concieved an idea and successfully brought it into realization, and some have made a great success of their business.
